The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the best in the NFL at keeping under the Salary Cap. They always seem to have money to spend on big names, now, that doesn't mean they do spend it, it just means they have it. This year was very dissappointing for the Birds and their faithful, many expected them to be in the spot the G-men were in Feburary. This offseason, Donovan McNabb has asked for more weapons, and this offseason seems to be headlined by big name weapons.

The New England Patriots let Randy Moss slip past the franchise tag, and they also declined the option of Donte Stallworth (a former Eagle great).

In Cinncy there is a big name WR crying to get out of there, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus is- woah, wait a second. Where did I hear this before? Big name WR, DR as his agent... well, it has happened before, the WR was Terrell Owens and he wanted to play in Philly, he loved the idea of playing with D-Mac, at least for the first year. I'd love to see the Birds go after 'ocho cinco'.

We also hear about Larry Ftzgerald possibly wanting out of Arizona (who wouldn't?) Javon Walker seems unwanted in Denver too.

There are fiveWR options that would look great in Philly, now the question i pose to you is, will big red spend the nessacary cash to get one of these guys in here? Is it worth it?

Randy Moss has been putting on the whole "good-guy" act in New England, but is he honest about it? Or is it because it's New England? That is a risk the Eagles normally shy away from, is Donte Stallworth the number one WR to put them over the top? Probally not, but he'd be effective here.

Chad Johnson says he wants to be traded, Marvin Lewis says no, who's going to win that battle? Is Fitzgerald Really available? These are all important questions the Eagles will be faced with this off season, they are going to have to make some big time moves if they want to compete in the NFC east, the NFL's most competitive division.

The Playmakers are out there. Now, it's on Andy to reel them in and finally bring a ring to Philadelphia.
